On the 5th (Tue), spend a fun day on foot with Walking tours. Tel Aviv to Jerusalem is an approximately 1-hour car ride. In October, plan for daily highs up to 34°C, and evening lows to 21°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 7th (Thu) early enough to catch the flight to Eilat.

Eilat

At the northern extreme of the Red Sea sits Eilat, a resort town popular with domestic and international tourists.
Kick off your visit on the 8th (Fri): explore the wealth of natural beauty at Timna Park and then explore the gorgeous colors at Dolphin Reef. On the next day, see the vivid underwater world at Coral Beach Nature Reserve, then meet the residents at Underwater Observatory Marine Park, and then discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour.

You can fly from Jerusalem to Eilat in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Plan for somewhat warmer temperatures traveling from Jerusalem in October, with highs in Eilat at 39°C and lows at 25°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Sat) so you can drive to Masada.
