A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Louvre Museum and Petit Palais will appeal to museum buffs. Get a sense of the local culture at Arc de Triomphe and Musee Marmottan Monet. There's still lots to do: explore the world behind art at Atelier des Lumieres, get a sense of history and politics at Hotel de Ville, catch a live event at Philippe-Chatrier Court, and pause for some serene contemplation at Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre.

Renowned for its vast royal palace and gardens built by King Louis XIV, Versailles is also one of the wealthiest suburbs of Paris and home to a new cultural notability, such as a thriving artistic and musical scene.
On the 14th (Sun), don't miss a visit to The Hall of Mirrors, then admire the striking features of Palace of Versailles, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Arboretum de la Vallee-aux-Loups.
