Nissa la Bella (Nice the Beautiful)

Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
On the 23rd (Wed), pause for some serene contemplation at Cathedrale Saint-Nicolas a Nice, then get to know the fascinating history of Vieille Ville, and then don't miss a visit to Promenade des Anglais. On the 24th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: steep yourself in history at Villa & Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild, then admire the natural beauty at Le Jardin Exotique d'Eze, then get great views at Colline du Chateau overlook, and finally don't miss a visit to Place Massena.

Calvi is a commune in the Haute-Corse department of France on the island of Corsica.It is the seat of the Canton of Calvi, which contains Calvi and one other commune, Lumio. On the 25th (Fri), make a trip to Phare de la Pietra and then get a tailor-made plan with Private Tours. Carcassonne

Best known as a fortified town, Carcassonne is a walled city that provided the inspiration for the castle in Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" and the location for many scenes in Kevin Costner's movie "Robin Hood." For a daily dose of excitement, medieval jousting tournaments are held twice per day between the two walls--while this may sound like a typical touristy show, it's actually an entertaining display of combative competition and horsemanship.
