Cataño is a municipality located on northern coast of Puerto Rico (U.S.) bordering the Atlantic Ocean and adjacent to the north and east by San Juan; north of Bayamón and Guaynabo; east of Toa Baja and west of Guaynabo and is part of the San Juan Metropolitan Area. Popular historic sites such as El Faro Lighthouse and Catedral San Felipe Apostol are in your itinerary. You'll get in some beach time at Carolina Beach and Jobos Beach. Change things up with these side-trips from Catano: Isabela (Monumento al Cacique Mabodamaca, Ermita San Antonio De Padua De La Tuna, &more), Aguadilla (Museo de Arte de Aguadilla y del Caribe, Crashboat Beach, &more) and Camuy (Parque Nacional de las Cavernas del Rio Camuy, Penon Amador Beach, &more). Next up on the itinerary: get engrossed in the history at Museo de Arte de Ponce, tour the pleasant surroundings at Pine Grove Beach, examine the collection at Parque de Bombas, and brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Casa Bacardi Puerto Rico.

For more things to do, other places to visit, where to stay, and tourist information, refer to the Catano trip itinerary builder.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiport is Luis Munoz Marin International Airport. In October, daytime highs in Catano are 90°F, while nighttime lows are 78°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Sun) to allow time to travel back home.
