Sarlat-la-Caneda is the capital of the former Périgord Noir, now referred to as the Aquitaine region that is home to a historical area consisting of impeccably preserved 14th-century buildings and sites.
Bring the kids along to Chateau de Castelnaud and Gouffre de Padirac. Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
Attractions like Marineland and Promenade des Anglais make great kid-friendly stops. Explore Nice's surroundings by going to Antibes (La Ferme du Far West, Bastion Saint Jaume, &more), Cannes (Vieux Port, Lérins Islands, &more) and Golfe-Juan Vallauris (Plage du Soleil & Plage du Midi). Kids will appreciate attractions like Massif de l'Esterel and Abel Baliff Beach.
