Venice of the North

Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.

Den Helder is a municipality and a city in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. Attractions like Callantsoog Beach and De Helderse Vallei make great kid-friendly stops. Marinemuseum and Redding museum, Den Helder are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Change things up with a short trip to Broerekerk in Bolsward (about 52 minutes away). There's lots more to do: learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Landgoed Hoenderdaell, admire the natural beauty at Oranjerie De Groene Parel Den Helder, and get outside with De Klimvallei B.V..
