Great Smoky Mountains National Park contains some of the highest mountains east of the Mississippi River, but it's the ease of access that makes this national park the United States' most visited.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Roaring Fork, Sugarland Riding Stables and Cades Cove. Kick off your visit on the 6th (Sat): tour the pleasant surroundings at Cades Cove, look for all kinds of wild species at Roaring Fork, take a pleasant ride with Sugarland Riding Stables, appreciate the extensive heritage of Noah Bud Ogle Cabin, then admire the sheer force of Ramsey Cascades, and finally stroll around Chimneys Picnic Area. On your second day here, appreciate the history behind Rockefeller Memorial and then explore the striking landscape at Chimney Tops Trail.
