Venice of the North

Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
Kids will enjoy Strand Egmond aan Zee and Begijnhof. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Nieuwmarkt and Van Stapele Koekmakerij. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Amsterdam: Het Strand Van Noordwijk Aan Zeedd (in Noordwijk), Strand van Wijk aan Zee (in Wijk aan Zee) and Linnaeushof (in Bennebroek). Den Helder is a municipality and a city in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Callantsoog Beach and De Helderse Vallei. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Oranjerie De Groene Parel Den Helder and Poldertuin Anna Paulowna, Klein Keukenhof. Go for a jaunt from Den Helder to Den Oever to see ZeeVerse Vismarkt about 30 minutes away. The adventure continues: get outside with De Klimvallei B.V., get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Fort Kijkduin (Museum and Aquarium), and examine the collection at Redding museum, Den Helder.
