Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Step off the beaten path and head to Centro Storico Associazione Centro Storico and Fontana dei Quattro fiumi. There's still lots to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di San Pietro, take in the spiritual surroundings of Church of St. Louis of the French, admire the local landmark of Trevi Fountain, and explore the world behind art at Borghese Gallery.

Considered a cultural, artistic, and architectural jewel of Italy, Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.
Kick off your visit on the 12th (Wed): appreciate the history behind Perseus Statue, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, then see the interesting displays at Galleria dell'Accademia, then see the interesting displays at Uffizi Gallery, and finally get great views at Abbazia di San Miniato al Monte. On the next day, get great views at Piazzale Michelangelo, indulge in some culinary diversions at a local gastronomic tour, then don't miss a visit to Centro Storico, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at The Baptistery of St. John.

Start off your visit on the 14th (Fri): take a stroll through Cannaregio, contemplate the waterfront views at Canal Grande, then pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, and finally step off the mainland to explore Isola di Burano. Keep things going the next day: appreciate the extensive heritage of St. Mark's Square, admire the striking features of Basilica di San Marco, and then admire the landmark architecture of Porta della Carta.
