Tastefully designed and carefully maintained, Bomber Command Memorial exists as a reminder and tribute to the men and women of the Royal Air Force who served during World War II. Built in 2012, the museum’s facade boasts ornate columns carved from Portland stone. A bronze sculpture depicting seven pilots serves as the main feature of the interior. Exquisite Memorial to British Veterans. This is a very beautifully sculpted memorial representing soldiers who fought to defend our way of life. You need to know where it is to find it, as it is not exactly on the most beaten track, but it is worth having a look at this art masterpiece commemorating our valiant military personal. From there you can reach many interesting spots in the city.
Probably my favourite memorial in London. It is too an important one for the brave work these men did, just a shame that there was such a delay in its building compared to other memorials, so its splendour is just deserved.
