  • This war memorial was raised by comrades and the railways company as a memorial to colleagues who died in the two world wars. This memorial sits on the roundabout in the bus station in front of Euston Station It has four soldiers standing guard around an obelisk. One on side is a plaque is inscribed "Remember the men and women of the London Midland and Scottish Railway. 1939 - 1945". Another plaque is inscribed "n grateful memory of 3719 men of the London and North Western Railway company who for their country, justice and freedom served and died in the Great War. 1914 - 1919".
