Find a little foodie paradise at Maltby Street Market, a modest yet busy market offering stalls upon stalls of bread, cheese, meat, fruit, vegetables, cakes, and more. Don't miss the more popular sellers like Monty's Deli and St. John Bakery for delicious sandwiches and doughnuts. Tourists and locals alike favor this shopping street, so to avoid the crowds and long lines, do your browsing in the Ropewalk, a narrow alleyway between Maltby Street and Millstream Road that follows next to the railway bridge arches. • Interesting mini food gallery from U.K., Europe, South America, Vietnam, Taiwan etc, all in one street. A good morning walk from Tower Hill/ Bridge and St Katherine’s Dock area. Chilled.  more »
  • A bit tucked away and kind of a wind tunnel (maybe on the day we were there), but so much delicious. Great multicultural vibe to match the food. Highly recommend a visit. Will visit again next time...  more »

  • Really enjoyed wandering through this market - there are many unique food vendors to choose from and the ones I spoke with or bought from were very nice & helpful. There were quite a few people there even though it was a rainy mid-morning, and many more were walking up as I was leaving a couple of hours later. I think its location also contributes to its charm - it just feels cozy & inviting!
  • This way a little bit disappointing. I expected more vendors, more artisans and fresh produce sellers. That is not the case.instead you have a small alleyway under a train track which is actually quite cute and I love the setting, with about twenty or so food vendors crammed in there. The food was great but I was just hoping for more to do.
