  • Lovely location, quiet despite its central location and contains some interesting statues. Nice to stroll through.  more »

  • I stumbled upon these gardens on my way to the Embankment tube station and was delighted to discover such a tranquil area. Beautifully landscaped gardens and walkways that are tucked away from the crowds. Statues, fountains, flowers, plants and trees — what more could one ask for on a sunny day in London? I passed by two cafes and lots of benches where people were eating, reading, people watching and just relaxing. Definitely worth walking through if you’re in the area.
  • Victoria Embankment Gardens is a public park along Victoria Embankment. One thing to note about Victoria Embankment Gardens is that it's a park in two parts along the embankment. The smaller of the two is towards the eastern end of Victoria Embankment near Temple station and contains a few statues, but otherwise not noteworthy. The larger of the two is next to Embankment Station and is much nice. Again it contains lots of statues, but far more green space like plenty of green space and paved walkways. It's also next to all the shops just outside Embankment station. Some of the statues include ones to Arthur Sullivan (of Gilbert & Sullivan), Robert Burns, Robert Raikes, a memorial to the Imperial Camel Corps etc to name a few.
