Longleat, Warminster

We went as a family for the first time and we had such an amazing time. Did safari first as soon as we arrived and although we didn't see any tigers or hyenas, everything else was absolutely amazing! Bought deer food (£1 a cup) and it was well worth it! We went through the monkey enclosure too and it was so much fun! The thing we most enjoyed was the jungle cruise! Seeing hippos and gorilla's as well as the sea lions who you can feed (£1 a cup) and it was just such an extraordinary experience! All the facilities were amazing. Everything themed to perfection! Gift shop was amazing too. My personal favourite was also the bat cave! We simply had the best day! Happy Family here 😊

This is a very good day out, but it's total value May be limited. The concept is brilliant and the staff are great. It was very popular but with limited big attractions. I believe that the value did not match the cost for the day. The three main areas of interest were the central park, the historic house and the wildlife park. There were the obligatory shops and good cafes. Most of the exhibitions were scant. The kids' rides were not bad and there was a nurse available for medical issues. For the wildlife park, the views were breathtaking and the animals were housed adequately. The monkeys were a massive hit with about 100 of the cheeky chaps, climbing on cars and providing great opportunities for photographers. The deer and other types were sufficient. The exciting animals like wolves and tigers were 1-off of seen. There were about 20 lions in 2 groups.
