  • Great place to come for a walk and have a rest, enjoy the fresh air and beautiful nature. Fantastic place to come with kids or have a barbecue in the summer. The hills make the park look interesting and unique. I love going there when I need to relax and gather my thoughts. It would've been perfect if the benches were a bit lower so they're more comfortable to sit on. I also like to go there for fitness. Walking through just a few hills make up for a gym workout. Love that park. One of my favourite places.
  • What a beautiful Park. There are some beautiful woodland walks suitable for all ages and abilities. There are also bike trails for the more adventurous. The children's playground is very imaginative with all equipment in safe working order. So much to capture the children's imagination. For the hungry there is a small restaurant and also a takeaway serving hot dogs, burgers, etc and of course Ice cream and drinks. One of the walks takes you to the rail museum. It is small but my grandchildren loved it, it is only open on Sundays though. There are plenty of areas where you can have a picnic and there are some table's scattered about. There are also toilet facilities next to the children's park. Park Rangers were on duty the day we went and they make sure everything is running smoothly. A beautiful day out.
