We are National Trust members and, due to Covid, had to book timed entry tickets to the site in advance. When you arrive, you need to go tot he visitors centre to check in. You then need to go to the.... more »

Very lovely place. Grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The children's playground situated the other side of the house is a mission to reach especially with a 4 year old and activities were very poor. Not worth the trek over there to be honest. But grounds and house worth a visit.

Country home of Winston Churchill, fascinating piece of history. Lovely house and grounds, lots of artefacts to see. Full of history. Gets very busy so go early, easy parking. Good for picnics and children. Standing in his study gives one a unique feel for British history as one imagines him dictating his memoirs and personal view of British history of the English speaking peoples
