Museum of Pop Culture is dedicated to contemporary popular culture, with exhibits focusing mainly on rock music and science fiction. Inside the unusual building--which resembles a large smashed guitar--you can visit the guitar gallery to learn about the development of one of rock music's defining instruments. The gallery displays 55 vintage guitars from 1770 to the present, including impressive specimens played by musicians such as Eddie Van Halen, Bo Diddley, and Kurt Cobain. Give your own rocking performance in front of a virtual audience with the interactive on-stage exhibit. Walk through the science fiction and fantasy hall of fame to learn about the lives and work of some of the genre's greatest creators and innovators. Purchase your ticket online in advance for a reduced price. This place is amazing is so way cool , this place is the best place to see a concert show. All the cool stuff in there to look at, the guitar chandelier there so much to see . This building is like no other it's one of a kind . It's a big part of Seattle. This is a fun place to visit. I love it here . I have seen some very cool shows here. I took a video here of Paul Allen playing guitar. It was a cool night Thank You Mo Pop & Paul Allen
I absolutely love this museum! The exhibits were all really cool and showcased a lot of unique artifacts such as film props and costumes. I particularly enjoyed the exhibit on horror, as it's a genre that has contributed greatly to our culture but is often viewed as less worthy of study than other media genres. The special exhibit on Marvel was really cool too! It was interesting to see how the stories have been translated/changed for different media formats as well as over time.
