Take a quick stop on the Ice Fields Parkway at Tangle Creek Falls to stretch your legs and snap a few photos of this delicate, multi-tiered cascade coming down a big cliff face. You can enjoy the beauty of the waterfall from the road or make the extra effort and climb one of the several short, unmarked paths to the top of the falls. Keep an eye out for bighorn sheep grazing on a ledge just above the road. The falls are easily accessible, but also easy to miss, so drive slowly to spot a small turnout north of the Glacier Skywalk that leads to the falls. Amenities include a parking lot on the other side of the road and washrooms. Beautiful, but mostly frozen in April when we drove by and stopped. There were climbers setting up, not sure if they were going to climb the ice or the rock face.
