Take a look at more than 160 years of history of glassworks manufacture at Moser. The newly designed, modern exhibit features the oldest examples of glasswork all the way to contemporary collections. As you watch glassmakers at work, you can smell the aroma of burnt-out wooden molds. Pick up an audio guide to explore at your own pace. The factory store offers an array of the Moser colors, such as amethyst, rose, blue, aurora, and green. Ask them to ship anything you buy so you don't risk breakage during your travels. We did not have much time so we decided to visit just the museum, however it was worth it. They gave us English headset so we could enjoy beautiful glasswork with little bit of education.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They take great pride in the products produced and on display. They produce beautiful works of art here. Anyone viewing them should recognize the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into producing the glass works. When I visited there were very few people. This was a good thing. The museum is small but if you listen to the entire audio guide. It takes about 45 minutes. I don't imagine it would be all that enjoyable with crowds. Finally and the biggest reason for my scoring of a three. I was told that the factory tours are only conducted in Czech. Seeing the factory and the process actually taking place was a big reason for my visit. Not much point if you are not going to understand the explanation and details.
A visit to the Moser museum glass factory is well worth the trip. Although the factory is small, we had an english speaking tour guide who explained every aspect of the process in detail. The tour ended in the shop where you could buy various items handmade in the factory. They were quite expensive, however, after seeing that every piece is handmade it is understandable why.
