  • We parked the car at the beginning of the trail. It is possible to drive to the restaurant le Chalet de l’Aulp where the trail begins. You have to be in good condition if you take the steep route...

  • La Tournette, a mountain in the Massif in Haute-Savoie, France located above and opposite beautiful Lake Annecy where is mostly calm and considered to be quite warm comparing to mountains lakes, great for water activities (i was on the sap all week). Great hikes all around, these photo's are from the Tournette, where you drive to one of the villages under,(Montmin for ex.) it isn't easy to find the closest parking spot to start the hikes, we had to drive around small and narrow streets, but 3 times hiking and 3 times I found it at the end. The hike itself isn't too hard, we did start with a 1 hour steep descent, but the view of the Mont Blanc Ridge from up was just amazing, and lake Annecy of course. 1 hour drive from Geneva, Swiss.
  • Beautiful view over Annecy, nice walk to the top.
