Marché provençal
The well-known covered market Marché provençal is known today in many parts of the world for its great variety of fresh products such as meat, vegetables, fish, and cheese. The market is situated not far from the harbor, and is a great tourist attraction today. Cannes is known all over the world for its world class shopping experience. Although this may not feel the same as shopping for goods that last for long, even the experience of shopping for foods with a shelf life can be a great experience. The foods here are known for their freshness, enough for people to come flocking. Plan to visit Marché provençal during your Antibes vacation using our convenient Antibes online visit planner.

I had one of the best burgers in my life here. When I go back to Antibes, I will absolutely be going back for another burger here. The atmosphere here is great with all the little shops selling interesting trinkets and things. The wait staff was very kind and was able to serve our party of 7 with ease. It's within walking distance of streets of amazing night life and bars.

The market is amazing and the produce is fresh and local, however, don't expect to find many bargains here. Most markets I've been to in life, the fruit and veggies are much cheaper than similar produce bought in supermarkets, but here you are really paying for the quality. Usually worth it but the almost €10 for a bunch of grapes was a bit too much. However, something I did really enjoy was that the vendors aren't pushy at all, they just let you do your thing. Apart from the high prices, it's a beautiful market in a stunning old town!
