The well-known covered market Marché provençal is known today in many parts of the world for its great variety of fresh products such as meat, vegetables, fish, and cheese. The market is situated not far from the harbor, and is a great tourist attraction today. Cannes is known all over the world for its world class shopping experience. Although this may not feel the same as shopping for goods that last for long, even the experience of shopping for foods with a shelf life can be a great experience. The foods here are known for their freshness, enough for people to come flocking. Plan to visit Marché provençal during your Antibes vacation using our convenient Antibes online visit planner.

  • One of the best open markets in Provence. When tourist season kicks up it probably gets more crowded, but in April there was plenty of space for us to do our daily fruit shopping and practice my french. Plus, it's a great site to sit with a tea & people watch . . .
  • Beautiful market in Provence. Not huge, but everything you need is here; spices, flowers, soaps, produce, olives, lavender products, & typical clothing and jewelry. Vendors were friendly and helpful!
