Maison de Louis Pasteur, Arbois

Visited with 2 children (7 and 11) the tour was interesting and at just 15 mins ideal length for them. The house is packed with original objects and the audio guide creates atmosphere. Left me wanting to read more about his whole life. The house, which is also on a lovely river, is also on a special 2.5km walking tour around the town marked with brass arrows in the pavement. It made a really lovely day.

This is a very interesting exhibition with headphone and a tablet. It has a map of the house and a little story created around the family and the house. The whole audio record is really interesting and enjoyable. The house is nicely furnished and in the last room you can take a picture of eachother together with the virtual monsieur Pasteur that you can e-mail yourself straight. There is a small souvenir shop at the entrance/exit where you can buy some very unique gifts and postcards. I highly recommend a visit.
