  • We had a helloween night visit. It was really well made. Lots of actors and nice decorations.
  • Quite an interesting and atypical chateau to visit. It was in ruins (no roof, doors or windows, plaster falling on tractors parked there) and 30 years ago the present owner bought and restored it. He is a passionate collector of a range of antiquities, from flint knives to Egyptian artifacts to Greek sculptures, and the rooms have a quirky range of furniture as well as historical paintings. There is also a "cabinet of curiosities" with an amazing insect collection (insects were collected in the 1860's) as well as many other oddities. If you chance to see the owner, he is full of information and delights in talking about his collections and chateau. Well worth a detour.
