We really enjoyed this museum. It is small but has a variety of rooms. This includes a few Degas, one Van Gogh, and several other impressionists.

Some good paintings and sketches in this museum but not that much of it for an entrance fee of E8. It was interesting but didn't meet my expectations.

We came across this house by accident but found a delightful little gem (hosting a Matisse exhibition on the second floor when we visited). Apart from that there are permanent artworks collected by Jacques Doucet a couturier at the end of 19th century, and Jean Angladon. Interesting rooms on the first floor contain antique furniture pieces, ceramics, paintings and a lovely library room with some impressive and important French literature. All collected by people who clearly had a passion for art. We loved it. Recommended for anyone who enjoys art.

Small but really worth a visit. A little gem, with all sorts of interesting rooms and artworks collected with love. Matisse exhibition now worth seeing too.
