  • Good free parking at this museum. We bought double ticket so we could visit the nearby bayeaux tapestry. Lots of exhibits exposing the events of the battle of Normandy and good photo...

  • We came here early this week as part of a visit to Normandy to attend the D-Day celebrations. This was definitely the best museum we visited in terms of exhibits, information and value for money...

  • Museum offers a day to day account of the landing. There's enough information and exhibits (uniforms, guns, tanks) but the museum should make greater use of the latest multimedia technology. It remains of very good introduction to the Battle of Normandy.
  • Interesting place, maybe a bit "dated". A lot of equipement that will interest the technical/historical visitor. Good idea not to focus on D Day but on the period after. From a Bayeux point of view a good perspective.
