Museum offers a day to day account of the landing. There's enough information and exhibits (uniforms, guns, tanks) but the museum should make greater use of the latest multimedia technology. It remains of very good introduction to the Battle of Normandy.

Interesting place, maybe a bit "dated". A lot of equipement that will interest the technical/historical visitor. Good idea not to focus on D Day but on the period after. From a Bayeux point of view a good perspective.
