Rendez-Vous dans les Vignes, Chancay

That was the most wonderful wine tasting that you can imagine! Myriam is very professional but doesn't oppress you with her knowledge. She talks about wine so passionately that you are drawn into this world and want to know more and more. She answers all your questions (silly as they may be) and takes time to explain all the details. The tasting itself was magnificent, especially interesting were the explanations about all the combinations with regional delicacies. That was almost like a proper meal. Thanks to her we are now fans of Nougat du Tours and will definitely try to recreate it at home (although only certified bakers are allowed to name their creation by this proud name). We had small children with us and were very worried that they may be bored but they could play freely around the vineyards and had many glasses of wonderful grape juice, so that they could also taste their Vouvray. All in all - great tour and tasting and thanks so much!!!

I never write reviews but this was an absolutely awesome experience. It was one of the best highlights of our trip! Myriam was fantastic and we learned a lot about the process of wine making in a beautiful countryside setting. I highly recommend it.
