The Menhir de Champ-Dolent (French: [meniʁ də ʃɑ̃ dɔlɑ̃]; Breton: Maen-hir dolenn) is a menhir, or upright standing stone, located in a field outside the town of Dol-de-Bretagne. It is the largest standing stone in Brittany and is over 9 meters high.

    The size is interesting that's all. You will see many others more deeply in North and south Bretagne, but if you are there why not ?

    It's not much, but it is very old. There is a sign explaining the history. Voor for a quick visit if you are passing anyway.

    Exceeds all expectations. Plenty of parking available on the street. Safe neighborhood. The number of picnic tables does not exceed four. I would love to enjoy the view with a bottle of wine!
