Housed at the beautiful, historic château, Champagne Comtesse Lafond is a symbol of superiority and elegance dedicated to the Comtesse Lafond, grandmother of Baron Patrick de Ladoucette. Some of the prestigious brands they produce, include Blanc de Blanc and Extra Brut Rosé that they call "Nectar." They allow you to try a tasting of any of their champagne styles for a set price for three different types.
You can tour the magnificent gardens and the lovely castle setting with historic paintings of several family members. They do not allow you to tour the wine cellars as they are off-site, but you can visit the grounds and the on-site shop to purchase bottles of any of the champagne varieties that you enjoy. By using our Epernay trip planner, you can arrange your visit to Champagne Comtesse Lafond and other attractions in Epernay.

Had a great visit here, one of the smaller Champagne houses but a much more personal experience. They even let you loose with a sword to open the bottles for tasting!

This place is a hidden gem! My family came for a tasting of two champagnes, and we were the only people there for the full hour we were there. We sat outside on their sweeping, gorgeous lawn which is used as a wedding venue, and the server brought us the champagnes to try at our table. She was extremely knowledgable and told us about the unique history of the property and brand. It felt like a private tasting experience, but it was priced as a general tasting! I highly recommend it, especially on a nice day.

We had a lovely tasting at the chateau, very nice staff and great champagne. Beautiful castle to enjoy a glass in front.
