Built in 1857, Phare de la Pietra is an operational lighthouse built atop a square white masonry tower with a gallery and a green lantern. The land is almost an island surrounded by the Mediterranean and is connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus. From the top you can see Monticello, the port, and Santa Reparata di Balagna. Remember to bring your camera to this well-known lighthouse for picturesque snapshots from the top. I suggest to visit this place at the sunset (8pm) because is stunning. Lovely easy walk around 15min on the road by the sea with amazing views. It is a really must see!

Amazing panisland with great views on the town and the sea. Crystal-clear turquoise water and red rocks. Its well worth the short walk up. There is also a rock tower to see.
