Nice Chateau in the middle of Vallée de Chevreuse, south west of Paris, owned by a gentleman economist. The parc beyond the chateau is wonderful. This place was a hunting lodge build in the 1600's. Famous members of the French royalty went there after deer hunting on horses, with hounds. Louis XIV aka the Sun king hunted there. Marie Antoinette slept there and many others. The place is not open to the public but can be visited upon reservation. The owner is a great and very knowledgeable guide.
