It is a beautiful building with a cute garden and water fountains. I really like the big statue of Christ (copy of Christus by Thorvaldsen) in the garden. The visitor center is an interesting place...

The garden of the the temple is such a peaceful and beautiful place. Though the temple itself is closed to those not of the church, there is a visitor center which is well worth the visit!

Such a beautiful building! It is worth a trip even of only to see from the outside. If you would like to know how to be able to enter and worship God or learn about what temples are for, talk to the helpful guides in the adjacent visitors center and they will tell you everything you need to know! Followers of Jesus Christ will feel the Holy Spirit here.

We visited the temple and visitor's center during our recent trip to Paris. The gardens are beautiful and a guide explained the symbolism of them. A full-size Christus sculpture looks out over the garden. There is a cut-away model of the Temple in the center. The guide told us of a local resident who was against us until he saw the Christus being lowered by a crane into the gardens. He said " I must apologize - I think I was on the wrong side" (or words to that effect). If you go on a Sunday, the visitor center doesn't open until after Church is out (I think 2 PM)
