Basilique Saint-Pie X, Lourdes

When in Lourdes, you should not miss the daily 5pm procession of the Blessed Sacrament around the square which ends in the Basilica of St Pius X where Adoration and Benediction ensues. Prayers and beautiful singing by the choir were in different languages, so no one should felt left out.

The larger and newer Basilica in the Lourdes Grotto complex. Although larger, the design is more modern and austere and looks like another modern catholic church. Bonus is that it could accommodate a large number of people attending their mass service. Felt like more commercialized than the other components of the Grotto complex. I think this purpose is more to accommodate as many pilgrims than say the other Basilicas or other parts of the complex.
