  • This is a sad place to visit but very interesting. Not so grand as the American cemetry but it makes the visitor realise there were two sides to the story. Well worth a visit

  • Was not originally on my D-day to do list, but saw it from the motorway and decided to visit. The sign over the entrance brought a sobering thought about those who fought. Well worth an hours visit.

  • It is such a beautiful resting place for The young German soldiers that fought and died not to far from this cemetery, there family's still visit them and cry and pray just like we do in the American cemeterys...cemetery... WAR IS HELL and once you see these Graves you will know why WAR is so bad..
  • 11,619 German soldiers rest in this isolated cemetery in the countryside. Many of them were only 18 or 19 years old. The plates bear the names, ranks, dates of birth and death. Perfectly maintained cemetery. To have.
