    Excellent museum. The layout is easy to follow and understand. The interactive attack brings home a small sense of what the soldiers went through, just a tiny fraction with the noise and effects.

    I just loved this experience. It really brought the war into reality and made me realize how awful war is. The memorabilia to read is so heartbreaking. The plane is wonderful to see

    Well worth a visit to this well known WW2 battery, they have a Dakota DC9 on display and a new hanger and visitors centre. You can enter each artillery bunker and watch the stories of the combatants on video, the very last bunker on the tour had a realistic depiction of the attack on the early hours of the 6th June 1944 D-day. 10/10.

    Very well presented museum on the site of the Merville battery. A lot of money has been invested in the visitor centre and carefully laid out explanation of the importance of the battle on the eve of the D-day landings. Very moving.
