La Forteresse de Montbazon, Montbazon

It’s a nice place to spend some hours with the kids. There are workshops and activities for them and in most of the case they also spoke English. Unfortunately the English guide for the tour of the fortress was not available so they had only in French.

5 hours felt like 5 minutes! There are informative, hands-on activities for kids that even adults will enjoy. English translations were correct and most of the staff speak English. The tour with a knight was funny and interesting (the English translation of the text is available at the front desk.)NOTE: people with knee and hip problems might have a hard time getting around. It was a fun stop that was worth the visit: you can eat the region specialty. -fouée- on-site for approx 3 euros each!
