  • A wonderful and huge, and I mean very extensive, museum of French military history. I cannot overstate the size of this place, I spent four hours in the wings covering the two world wars alone. And there is so much more to see! The exhibit titles are in several languages, but the full explanation is all in French. You can get audio guides but I just read the signs as best I could. Don't forget to see the Tomb of Napoleon while you're here, it's pretty unforgettable.
  • The museum is huge and if you are a history fanatic you can spend the whole day there. Even though the WW1 and WW2 sections are temporarily closed (until summer 2023) I spend around 4 hours navigate myself around the exhibitions. For sure the part related to Napoleon's era is the most interesting. Finally the section of Charles Degaulle is also unique.
