  • A beautiful castle, with stunning views. The walk up to the castle is a bit steep and inside the ground might be slightly challenging for anyone who's a little unsteady on their feet. From a distance and closeup, this is a very impressive castle. The views from the ramparts are fantastic. Inside, the castle is less impressive. As the price of a ticket includes a tour of the interior rooms, one might as well go along. However, the interior rooms, in my opinion, are nothing special - if I returned with friends, I would suggest they didn't bother with the tour. The tour guide only speaks French, but there are sheets in other languages.
  • This is what you expect when you think of medieval castles! It's been well preserved and evev has some indoor rooms open to the public. Few of those are actually decorated in the medieval style but in later styles, renaissance up to 19th century. Not my cup of tea but still the place is worth the visit. The point of view on surroundings is remarkable and there is a little bar on the way out next to the parking area.
