Sparkling Tour, Reims

SPECTACULAR!! There are not enough words to express how amazing our tour was with Valentin. We experienced his full day private tour of Reims and Epernay a couple of weeks ago and still cannot stop thinking of how wonderful it was. From the very beginning he was so accommodating when he offered us a date that he previously was not available to beat fit our schedule. He customized the tour to allow us to experience two small champagne houses and one famous one so that we could experience the differences. He picked us up at the train station, whisked us away to Veuve Cliquot followed by a tour of the abbey where Dom Perignon worked and is buried. He then took us to a gorgeous vineyard to see the vines and enjoy a wonderful bottle of champagne he provided. From there we had a wonderful 3-course lunch followed by two smaller champagne houses in the heart of Epernay. He provided extensive education on the champagne making process and there we sampled three different bottles at each house. The experience at each of the small houses was wonderful, private tour and interaction with owners and other employees who made us feel like long lost friends. He returned us to Reims and Tom to tour the cathedral and enjoy and early evening cocktail before our train. If you are considering booking a tour of Reims or Epernay I can’t recommend Valentin and sparkling tours more highly. You will feel like royalty ❤️

Valentin was an amazing tour guide. He was super friendly and really informative, I have definitely left the tour with alot of into that can't be found from a Google search! The places we visited each had a different take on champagne making which was highly insightful. I would definitely recommend this if you're in the beautiful champagne region. Thanks again Valentin!
