Manoir de Brecourt, Saint-Come-du-Mont

It's a private residence and I would think the owners see Band of Brothers fans nearly every day photographing their house. The field where the guns were is a farmer's field with cows in, there is nothing left to show what happened there on 6/6/1944. They have erected a memorial at the end of the road so people can visit something. But if you're like me and you've come far, then why not go down the lane to see the building where the Germans sniped back at Easy (not shown in series) or the field where they assaulted the guns. But please respect the people that live and work there.

Until the mini series BAND OF BROTHERS it was difficult to find for the ordinary person. In fact the whole of historic Normandy has better sign posts these days. It used to very difficult to find many places of wwII history
