Manade Cavallini, Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer

We had an excellent 2-hour visit to La Manade Cavallini, supervised by several Camargue Gardians on horseback! It was recommended by locals (difficult to choose between all the Manades that offer tours), and we were not disappointed. Really interesting explanations, with touches of humor and beautiful demonstrations on horseback with the cows. We discovered a real respect for their animals and an immense passion for the Gardian who led the visit. A good time in nature in the middle of the land, also accessible for children with carts and tractor to get around.

A must when you come to the Camargue! The staff who supervise the visit are really pleasant and pedagogical. We learn a lot of things about the management of a herd and the profession of herdsmen. And the icing on the cake, we get really close to the bulls! The meal is very good and very pleasant in an old cellar. The value for money is top notch and a big congratulations to the whole team who take great care of themselves
