Create an itinerary including Chateau de Bizy
At the gates of the city of Vernon, Chateau de Bizy offers you the pleasure of discovering the charm of this grand park. Stroll the grounds and admire the numerous sculpted fountains, including Neptune fountain, the water staircase, the fountain Gribouille, the sea horse fountain, and more. There are also stables that were built in 1741. All of this grandeur has earned the site the nickname of "Versailles of Normandy."

As you visit, keep in mind that the property has belonged to Louis XV, the Duke of Penthièvre, the last King of the French, and others. Refined interiors have memories of the First Empire, united by the descendants of the brothers Bonaparte and Marshal Suchet Dukes of Albufera. This parentage is still resident and owner of the castle. • Worth a visit if you are in Vernon. It was about a 30 minute walk from the town up hill but going back the walk was a lot nicer. There is plenty of parking if you are driving though. Definitely...
