Musee D-Day Omaha is primarily the work of an enthusiast by the name of Michel Brissard. After years of research, Michel decided to exhibit his collection, paying tribute to the soldiers who died in the Battle of Normandy. Located in a period building (an American hospital during the landings), the museum houses a private collection composed of rare objects (such as an Enigma machine, Higgins boat, and German equipment), which have remained in their original state and illustrate technological advances in wartime. • Many interesting items on display with descriptions in English and French. In door area and outdoor area with guns, searchlights and generators. Very fair price. Bar on site but closed when we visited in late June.
  • A small jam packed museum. I found the display cases at the back were too low to view it's contents and the descriptions/explanations of the displays too hard to read as it was dark. But other than that it was a nice museum, well worth a visit.
