Pamper yourself at Friedrichsbad, a luxurious, Roman-inspired oasis. You can choose from several thermal pools, open-air baths, saunas, and spa services. Take a tranquil swim in the dome-covered thermal pool, or unwind with a warm air bath before a refreshing soap-and-brush massage. No matter what you select, rest assured that the spa follows a 17-step bathing tradition. The bathhouse allows no clothing. Keeping with tradition, men and women bathe separately. Check online for mixed-gender bathing days. Start your trip to Baden-Baden by creating a personalized itinerary on Inspirock.
We went to Friedrichsbad expecting an historic bathing temple and paid 70 euro’s for this! ( 2 persons) For this price you would think they would give you a welcome, warm experience. This was...

If you want a holistic day spa experience then try some place else. If , however, you are looking for a step back in time and a special couple of hours, then this is a great place. The individual rooms are quite small but off peak you find a place. Decor is lovely. Tea and body cream included. Just missed 5 stars due to no bath towel after the spa and lack of instruction(other than “go upstairs, get undressed”)- no-one was on duty despite waiting 10 mins. Other than that, wholeheartedly recommend this place for a unique experience.
It is a peaceful and calm place where you can forget all your worries for a while. It was my first time to take a bath here, and I was also able to experience the bathing culture of baden-baden, which was very rewarding. I highly recommend coming here for a bathing experience.
