Create an itinerary including Pantokrator
Capture magnificent views of the surrounding islands from the top of Pantokrator, the highest point on the island. Visit the monastery located at the summit, walk around the courtyard, and stop for refreshments at the nearby cafe. Be on the lookout for owls hopping around on the rocks at the summit. Walk or drive up the winding road leading to the peak, but avoid the journey if you have a fear of heights, as the drive up is steep with mountain drops down the side. Parking is available at the summit for your convenience. Be sure to remember your sunscreen, as the sun can be strong at this elevation. • Incredible views across Corfu, road up is obviously going to be awkward, so not ideal if you're not confident in your driving. However if you can get to the top it is more than worth it.
  • You can drive by car to the top, asphalt, winding and narrow road. Beautiful view, but the surroundings leave a lot to be desired, very neglected and built-up with radio transmitters. There is a monastery at the top, under a huge steel tower ... in the monastery you can light candles and buy souvenirs in the shop.
