  • What an amazing moment this place! The basilica is undergoing some renovations currently but this takes nothing away from its beauty. It is a walk up a hill to see it…..worth every step.

  • The Esztergom Basilica / Cathedral is really big. The rotunda is under construction inside so you cannot get an excellent view of it. Otherwise, it looks really nice. Entrance was free of charge.

  • This is the number one highlight of the city, no doubts. The fresh air on top of the hill is located, the street performers, the vibe of the travelers amused by the view is unique. There is a café next to it and the monument of Saint. Stephen as well. I love how this Basilica looks already improve for far away, but when walking to/through it the experience really touches you, the size of the pillars, the details in the statues, everything, I just loved this place so much.
  • Stunning place ! We took the secret hiking stairs from a narrow alleyway and the hike was well worth the view. The basilica itself is gigantic and impressive. Amazing vantage points overlooking Slovakia and the border bridge. It was a shame the basilica was not open to visitors.
