We stopped off at the Fairy Fort on a Friday afternoon in late February. We were the only ones there at the time and placed the 2.50 euro/pp fee in the honesty box. As a history buff I appreciated.... more

Loved this place. Very cool to see the ancient ring with an amazing ocean view. But the animal feeding was the highlight. You get up close and feed lambs, donkeys, sheep, goats. And the bully goat...

Worth every penny of the €2.50 we paid in. Nothing quite like sheep eating out of your hands and a fairy fort to explore. Brightened up my day no end. Even the dog was welcome on the lead and the sheep weren't long telling him off if he sniffed too closely 🤣

Truth be told, this was one of the highlights of our entire Ireland trip. When will we ever again get the chance to feed baby sheep and baby goats? This was an absolute blast, and the staff were very kind and accommodating 10/10 would do again.
