  • I couldn't go up to the castle today as it was pouring rain and very muddy. The castle is unsafe, signs to Keep out. Great photos opportunity. The red sandstone rocks are beautiful thrown up from the beach to rest as a natural barrier from the sea Recommend the visit but don't get to close to the castle!
  • Unable to approach as it is at risk of collapsing any moment. No real good spot for viewing. Nice viewing spot of the neighboring lake from a small beach however. Much better ruins that can be entered all over Ireland. If you have time stop. If you are in a rush, give it a pass.
