Spent a wonderful day at Hennigans Heritage Centre. Tom and Catherine were brilliant from tea and scones to a their vast knowledge of history down through the years in the local area. Tom gives a fantastic tour bringing the past to life very entertaining and most definitely a must if you are staying in Mayo.

Our family absolutely loved meeting Tom and Catherine. The heritage centre was among our favourite experiences in Mayo. Fascinating to get a first hand account of days gone by in the west of Ireland. Even the two hard to please teenagers were impressed and learned a lot. The tea and bread was a lovely touch as was the sneaky sip of poitin afterwards 🤭 Tom is a lovely, lovely man and a terrific story teller. I could've listened to him all day. Highly recommend visiting. Thanks Tom and Catherine. X
