  • Well worth a visit to this piece of our national heritage. Gerry, the tour guide had an encyclopedic knowledge not only of the Abbey but also the history of the area.

  • If you're into history this place is an awesome to go and check out. Informative and once you're in you can explore most of the site at your leisure. Definitely head up the steps to get some great views of the entire complex and surrounding countryside. Absolutely brilliant!
  • Gorgeous place to visit. Very pleasant staff. Small visitor center (with toilets). Site is mostly outdoors. Well presented and well laid out. Lots of interesting information for all the family. Nice picnic tables outside to eat at if you have food with you. Charge was 5e/adult or 3e for a student or child. Did not note the family price.
