Westport House, Westport

Great day. Beautiful gardens. The house is amazing. Everyone is so friendly. They let me warm up at the fire when I got there as it was a wet day outside. Learnt so much about the house, their family and the history behind it all. During the summer it's a great day for everyone.

Love Westport House it's such a tranquil relaxing place to walk around the gardens. You can also go in and view the interior of the house be mindful it is under recent renovations lately and it's strictly on a booking visit at the moment I think. But even a visit to this beautiful place is well worth the visit. Plenty of child family fun activities during peak summer months and it also has a camping spot and bar/restaurant for visitors/campers and washing facilities for overnight camping too!
